The location of the beach is good although untended. Very substandard, the dedicated quiet adult only zones are constantly disrupted by loud children or teenagers, which causes frustration over lack of employees attention to the matter.

Inadequate service, most of the staff don't cater to member's requests. They leave kids to go to adult areas with no discipline or consideration, letting them do whatever they want. The civil members or guests are left unwelcomed. The hygiene of the beach club and gyms is neglected by staff, many insects everywhere, pools are dirty. A disappointing hotel club unfortunately.

This is by far the worst hotel and viking beach club in Kuwait I have ever been to as a member. They say it is 5 star hotel when actually they would be lucky to be in the 3 star range. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is directly on the beach, however even that is a complete disappointment as the beach is never cleaned or maintained properly with garbage everywhere and even dangerous debris like broken bottles and glasses etc as well as constantly bad horrible sewage swelling that is intolerable. The swimming pools are also very rarely maintained and cleaned. It is mostly dirty with leaves everywhere and dead bugs in every side of the pool. This hotel is also filled with corruption where if you know the recreational director closely you get special treatment where others are treated like they are unwanted. Like one time a bunch of kids were by the adult pool misbehaving and splashing around and even yelling while I was trying to do laps, relax and swim around comfortably and this particular pool is not meant for kids. To tell you the truth they were not even that young but they behaved like they were 4 or 5 years old, even though they were more like 13-15. And on top of that their parents let their kids do whatever they wanted. Even the supervising pool staff didn't tell them to stop or to go to the other pools that are used more for their age group. At first I told them nicely to please stop splashing and jumping around next to the other swimmers as this is strictly a pool for grown ups and used to relax in and if they wanted to continue doing that then the staff should intervene and let them know that this type of behavior is unexceptable. The staff still didnt care about my concerns and those kids still ended up behaving even worse. I kept on telling the poolside staff to please tell them to stop or to move them to the other pool and he said okay but he barely said anything to them. So then I complained to the health/beach club recreation director Ivan Tzenkov and he did absolutely nothing except to say respect the kids as if they are doing nothing wrong. As a grown man myself I was always taught to respect my elders since I was young. And for this director to say this to me is absolutely disgraceful. These kids are the ones that should more so respect their elders, not the other way around, even though I was very respectful and polite to them in telling them to please dont be behaving badly as this is a shared public pool and we all deserve to be comfortable while using the facilities. So then those kids and family turned this incident and situation around on me by telling the security that I am talking to them when all I was asking of them is to please respect the pool areas. There are 2 things wrong with this confrontation. First of all security shouldn't even get involved as this isn't something of a violent nature and second of all the kids were in the wrong pool to begin with (when they went running to their parents) as this pool is only reserved for adults 21 years of age and older and they shouldn't have been in this area. However again there are no rules when it comes to these constantly misbehaving kids and the viking club staff let them do whatever they want. Those teenagers at one time while I was in the pool relaxing with my phone, when I left my phone unattended for 2 minutes on the edge of the pool turf with my towel, they even ended up throwing my phone into the pool. Fortunately my phone is water proof. However again when I reported this incident to appropriate staff and employees they did absolutely nothing except say that they will look into it which meant nothing in the end. This kind of unexceptable customer service behavior from the staff and even security team needs to be thoroughly investigated for corruption. I have also been currently in contact with the Radisson blue headquarters in Brussels, Belgiuims in regards to these incidents as I have always been a long standing Radisson loyal rewards member. If I could rate this experience below 1 star I would.
